September 29, 2012. The day I could finally say, “I am a marathon runner.” This was the glory of all glory days for me. I will always treasure my memories from this day. My parents, husband, and BFF all were there to cheer me on. Suzanne even ran the last 6 miles with me. Well, we ran, walked, ran, walked, stretched, limped, used my inhaler, cried, laughed, sang, and then held my father’s hand as he escorted me to the finish line. Who would have thought that I would accomplish this?
